Probando Measure Map

Hacía tiempo que la gente de AdaptivePath comentaban de éste proyecto. Recibí una invitación que completé y hoy me enviaron un link para probar el alfa de ésta nueva aplicación sobre
Ajax.

Measuremap es una aplicación en la que debes inscribir los datos de tu Blog y el sistema registra la actividad -una vez que pusiste un script en el blog- y te la muestra sobre web después de logearte.

Mi primera impresión es que acá lo que importa es la manera de cómo se visualizan y se hacen expeditos los datos. Tufte ya decía que el problema para el Diseño hoy es cómo hacemos que el dato trasnformado en información concluya en comunicación.

Para ello el factor imagen e interfaz es vital, y el ejemplo de Measuremap ratifica la tesis de Tufte.

Es genial cómo con sólo 4 links básicos (visitas, links, comentarios y post) te enteras de manera rápida y clara del estado de tu Blog en esos eventos.

Además de los menús anteriores te entrega unos trasnversales que son los browers desde dónde te visitan, los países (como en la foto) y los horarios. Todo con lenguaje de imagen e íconos de rápida y comprensible metáfora visual.

Se me hizo fácil obtener una "foto" del blog en ése momento y creo es la info que necesito periódicamente y con la profundadad acotada. Measuremap no me llena de datos de dificil interpretación y se me hace muy útil a la hora de recomendarlo a mis nuevos Clientes que están comprando Blogs Corporativos en AyerBlogs, ya que Measuremap está hecho para ser leido y comprendido por muchos y no unos pocos computines que apasionados de la web digerimos las cosas más raras y difíciles que hay.
